Job Description Role Purpose: The Engineer in Training (EIT) Program is a challenging global program that introduces engineers to Rockwell Automation products, software and explains how they are integrated into our customers manufacturing process to help provide benefits such as improved productivity. The successful candidate will undergo 1-year structured training program which includes 4 months core technical training in our global standard training center & 6 months of Job rotation program to get exposure to different functions in the organization. Post to 1 year training program the employee will be promoted to Project Engineer / Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage and demonstrate learning attitude in first 1-year training program
• Understand organization, business functions, roles and responsibilities of projects and services engineer
• Learn products, software and gain practical experience in projects/services/other functions
• The candidate will assume responsibility of either Project Engineer (PE) / Field Service Engineer (FSE)

after 1-year Responsibilities of Project Engineer (PE) o Electrical Panel Wiring Design Verification o Solution development and prepare bill of material o Programming & commissioning of Automation products and software o Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) o Understands networks, communication and deliver network solutions to customer o Onsite visit, commissioning & take accountability in project execution o Gain knowledge on industrial applications and solutions Responsibilities of Field Service Engineer (FSE) o Learn & update knowledge on products and software o Visit customer site, support customers in preventive and periodic maintenance of products o Support customers in emergency machine breakdown, resolve issues to increase the uptime of customer machine/operation o Carry out Install Base Evaluation, suggest spare parts and obsolescence management o Develop solutions for upgradation/migration projects, and do the commissioning and execution o Support in contract management & to improve customer experience Key Capabilities: SKEEs (Skills, Knowledge, Education, Experience):

• Bachelor Engineering Degree in any of the following functions like Electrical / Electronics /

Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication.

• Fresh graduate / Less than 12 months experience in the field
• Good knowledge and understanding of core subjects with basic knowledge of Digital Electronics, Basics of

Electricals and Programming Languages

• Excellent in interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and information seeking nature
• Collaborate with teams & Adaptive to changes in technologies.
• Attention to details & Critical thinking abilities
• Active Listening & Collaboration
• Adopt and demonstrate cultural values of organization
