• Responsible for stack dish cooler especially for chiller and liquid condenser cooler design to cost and function, including verification.
• Establishing the programs and processes for new product development including interacting with customers to define product needs investigating new concept potential with respect to manufacturing, cost and marketability; evaluating product designs; building prototypes samples; conducting product testing.
• Preparing related technical reports
• Responsible for meeting customers build schedules and all quantity, quality and delivery targets of prototype products.
• Coordinating the projects with program management function and sales department.
• Participate in QOS, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 activities, including customer audits
• Developing improvement plans for product capability.
• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal management staff as required within the plant and outside the plant.
• Teaming with production and quality management teams for continuous improvements.
• Problem solving/process troubleshooting
• Technical support to internal team related to the projects
• Other tasks as directed by the supervisor

• application engineering experience for chiller and liquid condenser cooler in automotive will be required
• Progressively responsible engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive company or powertrain company. At least 5 years of working experience preferred, but good candidate with less experience can also be considered
• Ideally be familiar with stack dish cooler design/ stamping, brazing process, or be familiar the application data and testing data of Cooler Engineering.
• Computer literacy. Proficient with Auto CAD/Pro_E for design, and with MS Office, MS project to support the work.
• Tracking record demonstrating success in teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP are assets.
• Familiar with IATF 16949
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
