Job Title: Sourcing Specialist (Jewelry Industry) Location: China (ON SITE. MUST BE LOCATED IN DONGGUAN, GUANGDONG CHINA)

About Us: We are a fast-growing jewelry company known for our high-quality, innovative designs. As we transition our production facility from the USA to China, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our factory partners in China and the leadership team in the USA, maintaining our commitment to quality and timely production.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between our company and jewelry production factories in China.
• Source, vet, and negotiate with new and existing factory partners to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks on production runs and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct regular inventory counts on raw materials.
• Monitor production timelines to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Resolve any production or logistical issues quickly and effectively.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the company leadership in English.
• Stay updated on jewelry industry trends and incorporate best practices into the production process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing or production management, specifically in the jewelry industry.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Proven negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Chinese factory operations and cultural business practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Interview Process: Part of the interview process will be conducted in person in China from Feb 27th 2025 - Mar 9th 2025. You will be required to be available these days in the Dongguan area as you will join the leadership team in touring factories. This will be a paid working interview.
