Objectives of the Position: The Regional Label Advisor plays a central and strategically significant role by ensuring compliance with and maintenance of the highest labeling standards in their region. Acting as a key contact, they serve as a liaison between Country Label Experts, Business Label Advisors, and the Global Label Advisor. This demanding position requires a proactive, independent working style that allows the advisor to develop innovative solutions to meet labeling requirements while simultaneously building effective communication and support networks. In this role, you will be significantly involved in the implementation of a state-of-the-art label management system as part of the NGBA. Main Tasks: 1.NGBA: As an integral part of the project team, you will play a crucial role in implementing the new label management system. This includes the precise translation of business requirements into process and system requirements, comprehensive testing, close coordination with the IT department and end users, particularly in production facilities and site logistics, as well as creating comprehensive documentation and conducting user training. 2.Project Leadership: You will take the lead on (sub-)projects aimed at the continuous development and introduction of innovative processes and IT solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in labeling. 3.Consulting: You will provide guidance to business units, filling centers, and shipping centers on all aspects of labeling, including the setup and optimization of the label management system and the management of label inventory. 4.Process Integration: You will actively support the integration of the labeling process into other key processes, such as filling or warehousing, to ensure a seamless workflow. 5.Continuous Optimization: You will initiate and promote optimization initiatives in your region in close alignment with global label management to achieve continuous improvements. 6.Coordination of UATs: You will coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the label management system, including planning, defining test scenarios, and conducting tests for SAP releases, upgrades, as well as new labeling functions and templates. 7.Facilitation of User Training: You will facilitate comprehensive user training to ensure that team members and end users are well-prepared to effectively utilize labeling tools and processes. 8.Definition and Modification of Labels: You will define new product labels or make necessary adjustments to existing product labels to meet evolving regulatory requirements and customer needs, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. 9.Business Support: You will provide printable labels that are integrated into the relevant processes according to national regulations and customer requirements. Additionally, you will offer essential second-level support for Country Label Experts, Business Label Advisors, and end users by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to labeling practices. 10.Development of a Communication Network: You will foster a robust communication network with country labeling experts and Business Label Advisors to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing. Furthermore, you will interact with various BASF departments, including Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Corporate Identity, Process Experts, Supply Chain, Product Management, Site Logistics, Production, and IT, to discuss labeling-related topics and develop solutions. Job Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Informatics, or related field (or equivalent qualifications) 2. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in relevant industry 3. Professional & Technical knowledges:
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • In-depth knowledge of BASF Business, Distribution & Warehouse, and Production processes
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP system, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and presentation skills
  • Expertise in Agile Project Management and Consulting/Project Management
