We are seeking an English Teacher for an international school located in Hangzhou. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Job details

• Teach the subject of PYP English to primary school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the schools curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school

Requirements

• Related Bachelors or Master degree with Teaching Certification
• Minimum 2 years of full-time classroom teaching experience in relevant subject with deep understanding in AP and/or A-Level curricular
• Previous teaching experience with students for who English is not first language
• Professional proficiency and in English and technology
• Commitment on education, life-long learning and self-reflection

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 33,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
• Airfare Allowance of 12,000 RMB annually, increasing to 24,000 RMB after two years
• Paid holidays approximately three months of fully paid holidays, including winter and summer vacations and all Chinese national holidays
• Luggage allowance of 6,000 RMB for excess luggage
