Job Description Summary of Job Responsibility 1. Ensure quality of production by ensuring proper fixtures are in place on machines; conducting periodic checks on all parts being produced to ensure they meet specifications; checking finished products for defects before packaging them into boxes or bags etc.; inspecting work areas regularly to maintain cleanliness & safety standards at all times. 2. Conduct regular inspections of machine tools, equipment, and supplies to identify any malfunctions or wear and tear. Take appropriate action when necessary to prevent delays or disruptions in production schedules. 3. Collaborate closely with other departments such as engineering, purchasing, maintenance, quality control, and safety personnel to address issues related to tooling, machining processes, material availability, equipment downtime, product quality, worker safety, environmental compliance, and other aspects of manufacturing operations. 4. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer numerical control (CNC) machines to create complex shapes and designs from raw materials. Operate these machines efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. 5. Monitor production levels against established targets, taking corrective actions when needed to maintain output within acceptable limits. 6. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including time spent on each task, quantity produced, and any issues encountered during processing. These records can be used to track progress towards goals and identify potential bottlenecks in the production process. 7. Troubleshoot technical problems associated with machining processes, tooling, or equipment failures. Diagnose root causes quickly and implement effective solutions to minimize interruptions in production schedules. 8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, improving productivity, and streamlining workflows. Offer suggestions on how to optimize machining processes and eliminate non-value added tasks. 9. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety, environmental protection, and occupational health. 10. Train new employees on basic machining techniques, tool usage, and safety protocols. Provide guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills and become proficient in their assigned roles. Qualification

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, programming languages, and tooling systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Familiarity with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ISO 9001 quality management system standards.
• Basic understanding of automation systems and robotics used in manufacturing.
