Application Specialist is a Comprehensive position invovlving professional technological service, regional marketing exploration, and consultative selling skills. This position relies on in-depth technical competence and the use of the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP). Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote the regional sales of Zeiss equipment or solutions by providing professional advice or pre-sales and after-sales technical services,
• Assist in formulating market strategies with high growth potential,
• Conduct after-sales training, etc., to maintain user relationships,
• Collaborate with sales teams, service teams, marketing maketing teams, etc., to promoting projects.

For professional technological service:

• have in-depth understanding of Zeiss microscope systems (LM & EM),
• transform the specific technology to users practical applications and draw up effective technical solutions,
• stay closely to the hot trend of technology and markets,
• help develop configuration plans of Zeiss microscope systems or technical solutions (LM/EM),
• carry out after-sales training and trouble shooting;

For regional marketing exploration:

• well-map the characteristics of customers, including but not limited to customers‘ researching fields, sample preparation methods and potential needs,
• predict and dig potential marketing growth points,
• work with sales teams and marketing teams, assisting in making selling strategies or marketing strategies,
• maintain relationship with customers by participating expos, communication meetings, displays, etc.

For consultative selling:

• update the competitive information timely and assist in making competitive selling strategies,
• get deeply involved in the competitive tasks in selling programs,
• carry out targeted promotion of selling programs,
• well-bear DEMO tasks, especially the pre-sales DEMO,
• increase WIN probability of active opportunities.
