Company Munich Re Location Beijing , Greater China

Munich Re Beijing Branch, part of Munich Re, the worlds largest reinsurer, is looking for a qualified Intern, Traditional RI LH to strengthen our Greater China consultative advisory activities to primary insurers.

We are looking for an intern with either statistics, economics or insurance background to support different of our external and internal projects. The main tasks are to support our consultants on insurance related research of client and market data and translating the findings into tangible outputs for our clients.

If you want to experience work within a leading global reinsurance group, an excellent office environment and an international setting then join our team as an intern (minimum 5-6 months). While we expect the majority of work to be full-time and onsite with the team, we are open to provide some flexibility when it comes to core studies related inquiries.

YOUR ROLE

• Perform market and industry research related to life and health insurance products or incidence rate;
• Perform data analysis and develop recommendations for reinsurance quotation;
• Support reinsurance pricing, model testing and write pricing report;
• Check Statements of account for clients in mainland China;
• Develop and maintain database;
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

YOUR PROFILE

• Student in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related major;
• Foundation in SQL;
• Ability to challenge status quo;
• Result oriented, able to work under pressure;
• Good collaboration and problem-solving skills;
• Strong English language skills, with a CET-6 certificate or equivalent ;
• Available to work full-time (at least 4-5 days per week) from April 2025 onwards.
