Job Description: Join our Team: [Manufacturing Engineer] [Changzhou] Join our team at Terex/Genie and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated [Manufacturing Engineer] to contribute to the manufacturing team. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Terex/Genie, based in Changzhou, youll play a pivotal role in formulating welding process documents, solving on-site technical problems, managing welding projects and so on. What youll do

• Lead welding engineer and welding tech team to support the production line for completing welding process.
• Lead welding engineer and welding tech team to support the production lines for trouble shooting and solving the welding issues.
• Lead welding engineer and technician training.
• Develop, maintain and improve Standard Work. Provide training to ensure team members can consistently follow Standard Work.
• Develop welding process for new project/product.
• Develop processes to meet safety, quality, and delivery and cost targets.
• Interface and coordinate project activities with pertinent business functions.
• Provide support to product improvements and new product development.
• Coordinate implementation of engineering design changes into production.
• Support the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure the workplace is safe and 100% compliant with laws and regulations.
• Provide technical support for validation of the manufacturing system and quality initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

What youll bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a fabrication and/or assembly environment. Experience in a similar industry is preferred.
• Experience with pneumatic tools; machining, forming and welding processes; and hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Possess a strong understanding, firm belief and ability to perform within the principles of Toyota Production System, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to quickly learn new applications and new technologies.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to take a lead role in trouble-shooting and performing root cause analysis to solve problems and implement countermeasures.
• Proficient with CAD programs, ability to quickly learn SolidWorks.
• Ability to work well under compressed time constraints and limited direction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
• Flexibility to travel, on short notice as necessary.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing system, 6 sigma or IE etc will be perfect.
