The Role

• As part of the Innovation Centre Asia, we have the responsibility to design & manufacture automatic equipment like screw feeders, and other applications such as wheel nut-runner systems and software solutions. Our customers are in China, Korea, Japan and South East Asia.
• This position will be the leader of Project Team reporting to the department manager. She/he is also responsible for handling the assigned project as a Project Manager.
• Your mission is leading the project management team using best practices for running project efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring your team provide the best technical solutions that fulfil Atlas Copco targets regarding consolidated profitability, customer satisfaction, high quality & reliability, on-time delivery.

What we expect of you?

Major Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor whole project team execution, review regularly all on-going projects status, identify potential risks and define proactive actions plan.
• Support project managers on review resources cross function/departments when priorities decisions are needed.
• Guarantee the project running result could meet Finance target, including monthly tracking, and final project pre-post, and etc.
• Optimize the method for project schedule tracking, and visualize team scorecard.
• Lead agile team in project running, optimize agile method, and make clear team scorecard.
• Work closely with proposal team. Drive project team to be involved in key opportunities study.
• Through extending best practices and sharing/coaching activities, continue to enhance ICAs project management process to the maturity level.
• Build team competence mapping and career ladder and organize related trainings.
• Motivate the team and create a positive working environment with all departments of ACTA.

• Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in or above with engineering background
• Candidates must have 8+ years experience in an engineering related and including 5+ years of proven working experience as project manager.
• The successful candidate should have experience in understanding and defining customer needs.
• Experience in design and manufacturing of customized solutions
• Experience of working within an international matrix-organization and adapt easily to different culture.
• PMP certification
• Key account management related experience is a plus.
• Team management experience is a plus.

  Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge about project management tools, theory and goal setting
• Good knowledge of Motor Vehicle and/or General Industry segments
• Good understanding and interest in customer tightening applications
• Understanding of mechanical/electrical design, basic understanding of programming and CAD software
• SAP, Microsoft Project
• Good communication and interaction skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Experience of working within an international matrix-organization and adapt easily to different culture
• Team management experience is a plus
• Fluent (spoken & written) in English & Chinese (Mandarin)
