• Education Required: Bachelor
• Minimum Teaching Experience: 3 years of teaching experience

Additional School Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• (For secondary ELA and primary international homeroom teachers): Must hold a passport from the US, UK, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, or Canada
• For all other teaching positions: Open to persons of any nationality
• Four-year degree from an accredited university
• PGCE or higher
• Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree, preferably in education or the subject the teacher instructs
• QTS, national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
• Five years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities- International Primary Homeroom Teacher Grades K-5

• Abides by all regulations, policies, and requirements of the Peoples Republic of China and Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy.
• Teaches the U. S. Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
• Determines and monitors student progress
• Submits all lesson plans for normal instruction and for a substitute in the event the teacher is absent
