该职位来源于猎聘 ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
- Analyze and act on the purchase recommendations generated by the materials management system, including generating Purchase Orders, communicating PO’s to suppliers, receiving acknowledgements, and performing other PO maintenance as needed
- Responsible for purchasing all raw materials, semi-finished products, and containers, and procuring optimal product price in the existing marketplace, and the assurance in timeliness of deliveries, quality, and supplier responsiveness.
- Support the global sourcing strategy and long term supplier agreements for price, delivery and total cost management.
- Handle import & export affairs with China customs / agencies / forwarding companies to ensure goods shipment on right time with best total cost. In charge of domestic logistic, improve service level and handle urgency, coordinate warehouse, manage 3rd party logistic vendor, periodically inspect goods transportation status.
- Must be comfortable working cross functionally with multiple disciplines such as planning, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, quality control, customer care, and supply chain.
- Review KPIs on a daily basis and communicate supplier performance metrics; obtain formal corrective action plans as required
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, calls, and GEMBA walks.
- Monitor, assess, and resolve supplier delivery and quality performance issues, including problem shipments, receiving issues, packaging standards, open PO’s, expedite/defer requests, problem invoices, and other issues as needed
- Support implementation of new processes and systems including S&OP and continuous improvement projects
- Assist in early stage Product Development process to assure availability and competitive pricing of raw materials
- Maintain and promote compliance with all corporate requirements
- Effective communication of and implementation of purchasing policies, controls, procedures, and initiatives MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field, APICs Certified (CSCP, CPIM) is preferred.
Strong change agent and problem solver, familiar with continuous improvement with experience in a manufacturing facility (Chemical industry preferred).
