This purpose of this ROLE is:

Responsible for Card Merchant Management (CMM), ensuring new and existing ACI customers receive first-class delivery service aligned with expectations and contractual agreements. This role focuses on identifying and developing customer solutions using company products, outsourced services, and proprietary tools/techniques. It involves defining needs, crafting project delivery plans, and serving as a trusted consultant. Performance is evaluated based on utilization (i.e., billable hours) and the successful implementation of tailored solutions.

A Typical day at ACI for a Principal Technical Consultant (CMM) is:

• Analyze clients business needs, integrates clients business strategies and recommend appropriate information technology solutions utilizing ACIs methodologies.
• Conduct analysis of corporate objectives, critical success factors, business functions and processes.
• Plan, integrate and manage the implementation of new technology.
• Solve highly technical and complex problems for project(s).
• Guide and provide ultimate technical direction for projects.
• Significantly support the regional/products business development and sales support efforts for a particular territory, industry or account.
• Meet with prospective, current and former clients describing and defining ACIs services particularly as they relate to area of specialty.
• Has advanced technical knowledge and understanding of product set and business knowledge.
• Guide customers with their implementation efforts as necessary to ensure successful product adoption.
• Anticipate the implications and consequences of risks or business situations and takes appropriate action to prepare for possible mitigation actions and or contingencies.
• Identify information needed to clarify a risk or business situation, seeks that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to ACI code of ethics and global information security.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant studies
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in China Card Merchant Management (CMM)
• Ability to speak fluent English and Mandarin
• Strong technical skills in Online and Batch program coding and debugging
• Understanding online transaction processing, worked on financial transaction switches
• Experience in inter-system and application interfaces in SNA and TCPIP connectivity.
• Knowledge with transaction security, EMV; experience working with HSMs e.g. Thales, Atalla, Eracom, etc,
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 8583 (1987 or 1993) message formats and global card schemes e.g. VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, MEPS
• Experience with CDM, CRM, ATM and POS device-driving
• Understanding of project lifecycle, SDLC
